No worries. Nicole will sit with you and sort the real jewelry from any costume jewelry. From there, she will make recommendations as to which items would be appropriate to get an appraisal on. You will only be charged for items appraised.

The average item takes about 25 to 30 minutes to appraise. Some items are fairly straightforward to appraise, while others are very complex and may require additional time, including extended research for very unusual items.

Most insurance companies recommend regular re-evaluations to prevent becoming under-insured. We securely archive your appraisal so updating can be done easily at a reduced cost.

Receipts or seller documents may secure temporary coverage, but most insurance companies require an appraisal done by an independent third party who is a Graduate Gemologist trained in appraisal theory. Only 3% of retail jewelers have a Graduate Gemologist on staff.
